About the therapist.

Hi I’m Rachel, and thank you for visiting my page.

I work within a humanistic approach based on Transactional Analysis, and believe that by exploring the past, clients can recognise any road blocks in their present, which can be released or updated to enable growth and self-empowerment for their future.

I works with clients (16+) who present a range of different issues, including low mood, anxiety, depression and abuse. I use different techniques depending on the person, with the belief that everyone is unique. I am experienced in working with trauma, abuse of all descriptions, stress, anxiety, depression, loss and grief, low self-esteem, OCD, neurodiversity, gender and identity, long term or incurable illnesses and many others.

My principle is based around working together collaboratively to build the your own resilience, encourage self-awareness, and enable both empowerment and inner restoration.

Alongside my Private Practice, I also work as an Integrative Therapist at the Priory Wellbeing Centre in Southampton, as well as co-facilitating a support group in a local abuse organisation, for people exploring safer relationships after abuse. I use therapeutic tools and psychoeducation in all of my work, particularly exploring neuroscience and the nervous system.

I will welcome you into my space in person, which is nestled in my own home, or create the same confidential and quiet environment online or by phone, so you can explore your inner world from your the comfort of your own home. I am based in Eastleigh, Southampton, and also offer walk and talk therapy for anyone who finds the traditional counselling space more challenging.
